When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom (Prov. 11:2,NIV).
God wants His children to walk in true humility, and to avoid pride like a plague. Reason? Pride brings disgrace and destruction. As a matter of truth, God resists the proud. But with humility there is grace, and wisdom, two principal ingredients of success in time and eternity.
The Bible says with humility comes wisdom. This means when true humility shows up, wisdom must accompany it.
People that are truly humble walk in great wisdom, and they succeed greatly in life. On the contrary, people who
walk in pride always end up in calamity no matter how gifted they seem to be. The call of God to you today therefore
is to humble yourself under the mighty hands of God, and choose to walk in humility all the days of your life, and you will be reckoned amongst the great.
But he giveth more grace. Where fore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up (James 4:6, 10).
