HURRY, AND DELIVER HIS MESSAGE

So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell His disciples (Matthew 28:8, NIV).

There is an urgent need for every believer to hurry and take the message of the gospel of Christ to our dying world.

Everything points to the fact that the end-time is here. Wars. Famines. Natural disasters. Iniquities abounding. Knowledge exploding worldwide. All that Jesus said would happen are happening already. Without any doubt, the end-time is here and we need to urgently take the message of the cross of Christ to our lost world.

The women that went to the tomb of Christ were the first set of people to receive the good news that Jesus Christ is alive (Luke 24:6). Having received the message, they hurried to tell others the good news.

As a believer in Christ, you have been saved by the good news that He died, rose again, and He is alive. Your sins are forgiven. You have eternal life. You are on your way to enjoy the glory of heaven. You have dominion over the devil, and you have authority in Christ. You are a new creature and your life is never the same again. This is what the people of the world are desperately looking for. They are under the bondage of sin and Satan and they are looking for a way of escape. But “the way of peace they know not, hence they grope in darkness and bondage” (Isaiah 59:7-8).

But you have heard the joyful sound (Psalm 89:15). You have known Him that is from the beginning (1 John 2:13). You have known and believed the love that God has for us (1 John 4:6). You have known Him who is the truth, and He has made you free (John 8:32). You have been lled with the Holy Spirit, and you have tasted of the power of the age to come (Hebrew 6:4-5). You are in the best position to tell the world what you have heard, and seen; and experienced. You are not to keep the good news to yourself. It is the only commodity every human cannot do without.

The time has come for you to behave like the early disciples of Christ. This is what they said,

For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard (Acts 4:20).

Moreover, the risen Christ has sent you to go and preach the gospel to every creature. The Father sent Him. He did it with every sense of urgency. He said:

I must work the works of Him that sent me, while it is day, the night cometh when no man can work (John 9:4).

Now it is our turn to be willing, to be obedient and to urgently take the gospel message to our neighbourhood, our
community, our nation and nations of the world.
