A NEW WORLD FOR YOU

And the one sitting on the throne said, Look, I am making all things new! And then he said to me, write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true (Rev. 21:5, NLT).

God Almighty, who sits on the throne, wants to make all things new in your life. He wants to put an end to all the old, unpleasant past, and move you into a new realm of glory. He has the ability to do it. He wants to do it. And He will, if you believe His word and cooperate with Him (John 11:40).

This is the message that Jesus Christ brought into the world. He demonstrated it by His death and glorious resurrection. In Christ’s resurrection, God was saying to all humanity that He is the One who quickens the dead, who
makes all things new. His power that raised Christ from the dead is still at work. It can work in you today. God can make your entire life new, beginning from today.

Many times we are so enmeshed in the past that we are not moving forward at all. This is not God’s will. God wants you to go forward (Exodus 14:15). He told the people of Israel to forget the past because He was doing a new thing in their lives. This is what He is saying to you also. Forget the past: there is a new world for you.

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert (Isaiah 43:18-19).

Paul understood this, and allowed God to move him forward, from his ugly past into the glorious life he lived in Christ. This is what Paul said:
Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Phil. 3:13-14).

He then urged all of us to think maturely, to let go of the past, and allow God to give us a new world.

Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded (Phil. 3:15a).

Beloved, put your life into God’s hands, Let Him make all things new. Let Him carry you on His wings. Let Him move you forward. He will do it now.

(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be (Romans 4:17-18).
