Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the sepulchre, and he saw, and believed (John 20:8).

Faith is the medium by which we connect with the mercy, the grace, the power and the favour of God. When you believe God and His word concerning a particular matter, something happens that is truly supernatural whether it is spectacular or silent. When the disciples came to the tomb of our Lord Jesus and they saw that He had risen from the dead, faith arose in their hearts: they believed, and were never the same again.

The Bible says that “for with God all things are possible” (Mark 10:27). We can easily appreciate that, because we know that God is the Almighty. But the Bible also says that “if you can believe, all things
are possible to him that believes” (Mark 9:23). This means that believing connects you with the omnipotent abilities of Almighty God.

Believing makes all things possible to you. Believing God and His word makes you as potent as God. Hard to swallow? But that is the truth according to Jesus Christ our Lord. It is by faith that you are saved (Eph. 2:8-10). It is by faith that you are healed (Matthew 9:29).
It is by faith you are sanctified and made holy (Acts 26:18).

It is by faith you overcome the world and all the powers of darkness that are in the world (1 John 4:4; 5:4). It is by faith that you destroy all the fiery arrows that the enemy throws at you (Eph. 6:16). It is by faith you resist and overcome the devil (I Pet. 5:8-9).

It is by faith you can obtain the promises of God (Heb. 6:12).
It is by faith you can see the invisible and do the impossible (Heb. 11:26-27).
It is by faith you can turn hopeless situations around (Heb. 11:33-34).
It is by faith we receive answer to prayers (Mk. 11:23-24).
It is by faith we please God (Heb. 11:6).
This is the reason the Bible says categorically that “the just shall live by faith” (Habakkuk 2:4; Rom. 1:17; Gal. 3:11; Heb. 10:38).

The only way to live in God’s kingdom, is by faith. This is why it is critical for you to nourish your faith day by day with the living
word of God because “faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17).

When the word of God comes to you on a daily basis, your faith is properly nourished and you can walk with God in the realm of the supernatural, just as God intends for you to live. Today, activate your faith as you receive God’s precious word, and believe God for whatever you want Him to do for you. All things are possible to you because you believe.

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them (Mark 11:24).
